Lana is a Florida-native. She received a Master’s Degree with specialized instruction and educational certification in early intervention (0-3 years old) for children that are deaf and/or hard of hearing from culturally & linguistically diverse backgrounds. Lana’s variety of clinical experiences includes working with adults and children with swallowing and cognitive disorders, parent/caregiver coaching, children with Autism, and providing adults with Lou Gehrig’s disease (ALS) a high-tech Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) device. Lana’s current professional interests are working with dual-language learners, child feeding selectivity, child dysphagia, AAC, and phonological disorders to name a few.
Lana lives in Tampa with her fiancé, Pomeranian, and many succulents. She enjoys gardening, trying new food, reading, and chasing after her Godson!
